Dear Club members,
The Club 509 annual meeting is required per our by-laws. Article 9.1 for the purpose of annual elections, conducting certain club business, and receiving reports. This year we will receive reports from each officer, propose/discuss goals/vision for the next year. We will specifically discuss current bylaws with proposed amendments that will allow your donations to become tax deductible as well as update some other nuances to allow for more modern activity such as online voting ability. Per Article 8.1 “To amend the Bylaws of this Club requires a two-thirds vote of the membership present at a meeting specifically called for such purpose. Proposed amendments shall be well publicized to the membership one (1) month prior to the vote. All amendments must be voted upon and approved by 2/3 vote of members present.”
We will be calling a General Membership to largely focus specifically on the proposed amended bylaws as well as the annual elections for your 2026 officers.

At Safe Harbor Support Center we’re thrilled to announce The Safe Harbor Slam – Safe Harbor’s first annual Pickleball Benefit Tournament. It promises to be a weekend of fun, competition, and community,
all to benefit the life-changing work happening right here at Safe Harbor Support Center.
At the heart of our mission is My Friend’s Place, our flagship program, where we provide
safety, stability, and hope for homeless and vulnerable youth ages 13–20. Every day,
young people walk through our doors seeking a warm meal, a safe bed, clean clothes,
showers, and someone who believes in them.
Beyond meeting basic needs, we offer case management and guidance to help these youth
find stability and build brighter futures. In addition, Safe Harbor serves families and
children throughout our community through programs that support parents facing
crises, teach children critical life skills, and provide basic necessities like food, diapers,
clothing, and hygiene items. From family reunification support to holiday gifts for over
400 children each year, your sponsorship helps us reach hundreds of lives when they
need it most – right here in our local community.
By partnering with us for The Safe Harbor Slam, your business will not only gain visibility
and recognition, but you’ll also make a direct impact on youth and families in crisis.
Together, we can create a stronger, safer, and more compassionate community.
Thank you for considering this opportunity. We’ve included sponsorship details and
would love to partner with you to make this inaugural event a success.
